My Professional Reflection essay described how the Master in International Security Studies was more than a learning program for me. I started it soon after I became US resident and, at the same time, with my daughter undergraduate studies. This fact helped me to understand her better and together we discovered how the US system was different from the Eastern European education system. It taught me also how to think and write in a more structured way than before, and helped me with adaptation as a new immigrant.
